“Invisible Transition”

This photographic project is a poetic and spiritual reflection on Bahareh’s memory, personal growth, and transformation. Drawing inspiration from the life cycles of leaves, she uses dry and fallen leaves as a metaphor for the often unseen beauty and value in overlooked aspects of life. Through this work, Bahareh explores the idea that even in decay, there is renewal—just as a dead leaf returns to the soil to nourish the tree once more.

 This cycle mirrors her own journey, marking both her accomplishments and her perceived setbacks as essential parts of her path toward self-discovery. Using alternative photographic techniques such as Cyanotype, Argyrotype, Scanography, and Photogram, she creates delicate and meditative images that echo the silent yet powerful changes occurring within and around her. The leaves become not only a medium but also a symbol of quiet resilience and transformation, capturing the connection between personal experience and the natural world.
